Art. 15 - Town Meeting Time

Hi all. Like many (all?) of you, I have received communication from people involved with the Roberts Rules vs Town Meeting Time (TMT) decision indicating support for TMT but, as I understand, a suggestion that we postpone the change until additional bylaws can be finalized. The Town Clerk supports making the shift to TMT now. I am curious to hear others' thoughts and the reasons behind either position. In particular, what bylaws would need to be created/revised to support TMT? Thanks.

Jen--there is an appendix to the Report of the Parliamentary Rules Study Committee that describes several items that have potential impact should TMT be adopted. I am slogging though the list and have several questions about items listed, for example the first two do not seem to be in conflict with practice and items 3 and 5 appear to be the same for TMT and RRO.
