Hello, fellow Town Meeting folks, I'm not sure where to put this general comment, but here goes anyway:
I will 100% agree with everyone who like clean water, and those that would like to keep sewage where it should go. So who could say no to lining the rusting iron pipes and the poop pumper (a poomper?) for Woodside? So twice tonight I heard, "this can readily be added to the water and sewer bill", in what seems to me a too easy "who can say no", perhaps in a rather cavalier way.
Getting to my point: I wonder how to encourage warrant article proposers to include in their presentation the impact on the taxpayers /residents - if not the average $/yr for taxes, then a typical $/yr for the water and sewer fees that would be added to all of our bills, for these excellent projects. If they were actually stated and I was distracted, I apologize.
If TM members routinely expect all presenters to say what the $/yr impact is to our communities, I suggest that would be a great help not only in TM's understanding of the proposals, but better inform all the residents of what TM is approving to raise their taxes and fees.
Thank you.
